JEE Main Result 2013 – jeemain.nic.in – AIEEE Result 2013 :

Central Board of Secondary Education will going to declare JEE Main Result 2013 or AIEEE Result 2013 today at 4.00 PM on main portal site at jeemain.nic.in for entrance examination known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.

JEE (Main) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). From this year there are lots of changes in the exam pattern of JEE. Generally the JEE exam is taken for the admission in the first year of four year regular full time course of Engineering to any IIT. But from this time JEE is taken in the two parts; JEE – Main and JEE – Advanced.

AIEEE is replaced by the JEE – Main. Now JEE – Main is considered as the entrance exam for any NITs or any engineering colleges in the India. If you have given the JEE – Main then you can take admission in the any engineering college.

JEE – Main is also the eligibility test for the JEE – Advanced. After clearing the JEE – Main the merit list will be published and according to that the top students can only give the JEE – Advanced. And after clearing the JEE – Advanced one can get direct admission to any IITs.

This time About 10.5 Lac students have given the JEE – Main; 9 Lac students opted for the pen-and-paper test while 1.5 Lac students have given the online test. Out of all these aspirants, only top 1.5 Lakh candidates will be selected to appear for JEE Advanced examination which has been replaced in place of IIT JEE for admission into various undergraduate courses of Engineering in IITs.

How to view:

Open the official site of JEE at jeemain.nic.in.
On the home page find the link for the result of JEE Main, click on that.
Enter your registration number and submit it.
The result will display on your screen.

By post also the score card will be sent to the applicant.

The merit list will be made by giving 60 percent weightage to the JEE (Main) score and 40 percent weightage to class 12 board theory exam marks.
