Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will start providing Admit Card/Call letter/Hall Ticket for UP police constable exam 2013. In a latest development, Hon’ble Madras High Court, has dismissed the petition that sought stay for TNTET result 2013.
Further Hon’ble Madras High Court has adjourned the case to November 18 2013
The petition which sought for staying TNTET Result 2013 came for hearing before Hon’ble Judges R.K Agarwal and Sathyanarayana. The plea before the court was to give relaxation for Backward class applicants of TET to the extent of 5% to 10% in marks and to Stay TNTET Result 2013 till the judgement in this case.
However, Hon’ble High Court did not accede to the plea of withholding TNTET Result 2013, and ordered that TNTET Result 2013 can be released before decision in this case.

JEE Advanced 2014 Exam Date and Online Registration

The Joint Admission Board of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) has officially announced the date of JEE  Advanced  2014 for admission  to IITs and ISM.
The examination is scheduled to be held on 25th May 2014.
The JEE Advanced 2014 examination will include two papers- the first paper to be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and second paper from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The test paper will comprise of objective (multiple choice) questions that will test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
JEE (Main)-2014 will be conducted by CBSE on behalf of the JEE apex board on April 6th, 2014, in both online and offline modes. The paper 1 of the JEE Main will be held in both offline and online mode but paper 2 will be a pen and paper test only.
The first 1,50,000 candidates (including all categories) in the merit list of JEE Main -2014 Paper-1 will be eligible to write JEE Advanced -2014.
Successful candidates of JEE Main should register for JEE Advanced 2014 online at http://www.jeeadv.iitd.ac.in/ after declaration of JEE Main 2014 results.
The seven zonal IITs comprise of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.
In UP, the test will be held in six cities – Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi.
JEE Advanced 2014 Application Fees:

• The examination fee for GE and OBC(NCL) male candidates is Rs.2000.
• The fee for SC, ST, PD male candidates is Rs. 1000.

• There is no fee for female candidates of all categories.
• Candidates appearing from Dubai Centre will have to pay US $ 220.

CHEDULE OF EXAMINATION, ADMIT CARD AND PRACTICE TEST
1. The examination shall be conducted from 15th – 21st November, 2013, which is referred to as the testing window (with 17th and 20th November as a non-testing day).
2. Candidates have the option of choosing their examination centre, date and time through online registration & scheduling system. Availability is on a first come, first served basis, and candidates will only be shown options that are available at the point of scheduling.
3. Candidates may note that each candidate will be required to appear only once during the testing window, in the session allocated i.e. either Forenoon or Afternoon on the particular date.
4. REQUESTS FOR CHANGE OF CENTRE ARE NOT ENTERTAINED once the candidate schedules his/her examination. Candidates are advised not to canvass for the same.
5. At the end of Registration and Scheduling process the applicant will get a computer generated acknowledgement, this acknowledgment shall also be sent at the registered e-mail ID of the applicant. A print out of this acknowledgment constitutes the Admit Card-cum-Confirmation Slip. Candidate is required to affix a latest passport size photograph of the following specifications on this acknowledgement. Candidate is required to bring a print out of this acknowledgement to the Test centre along with an identification document as per para 6 below.
Specifications for Photograph –
A photograph of minimum 35×45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate.
A caption indicating name of candidate and date of taking photograph should be there at the bottom of photo.
Photograph should be taken in a white /very light colored background.
The photograph needs to display full front view of the face. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
Please avoid photograph with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
The photograph needs to be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolutions.
The colours must possess the natural appearance and skin tone.
The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.
6. Candidates MUST bring to the test centre the following documents
Printed copy of your Admit card with photo attested by gazetted officer attached AND
Photocopy of your Permanent and Provisional SMC/MCI registration*, to be retained by the test centre AND
Any one of the authorized photo IDs**(must be original and non-expired)
i. Permanent or Provisional SMC/MCI registration certificate with photograph. (Please note that in case you are carrying a COMPUTER PRINTED COPY of the MCI/SMC certificate, it needs to be presented with an additional valid PHOTO ID mentioned below.)
ii. PAN Card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card.
*Candidates who have obtained their Primary medical Qualification outside India and do not have SMC/MCI registration should bring their original screening test pass certificate issued on NBE letterhead.
**The name on your photo identification must match with your name as shown on your Admit card.If your name has been changed due to events such as marriage, you must show the relevant document mentioned below at the time of test.
7. Candidates may kindly note that they have to report by the time as indicated in the admit card and para 5.8 of this Information Bulletin. Candidates reporting late or beyond the prescribed time shall not be allowed to appear in the test.
8. A practice test to provide candidates with the feel and functionality of the actual test is available on DNB-CET website www.natboard.edu.in/CET . Candidates registered for DNB-CET can undertake the practice test prior to the actual test window. Candidates are advised to go through the practice test carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout and navigation.

RTET 2013 Eligibility and Qualifications :

1. RTET 2013 Qualification Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I) 2013:
   Candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks. Those appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible. OR Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification can also apply.

2. RTET 2013 Qualification Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper II) 2013 : Applicants having B.A. / B.Sc and those appearing in final 2 year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks and passed / appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. The Common Admission Test (CAT),which holds the key to the 13 IIMs and other major B-schools in the country, has gone for a format makeover.

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) said the common admission test (CAT) this year will be held between 16 October and 11 November for admission to Post Graduate Programmes and Fellow Programmes with sectoral programmes on Agricultural and Rural Development, Energy and Power, Human Settlements and Environment, Population and Health, Transportation and Education Management across 40 cities.

This year, the 13 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have added 115 seats for B-School admissions, for a total of 3,335 seats across all IIMs. More than 200,000 students are expected to register for the exam seeking berths in 13 of the IIMs in India. Put together, all IIMs have nearly 3,200 seats available.

CAT has one-third negative marking, and statistics shows that that blind guessing almost always leads to a negative/low score, so avoid guess work. However, in case you have been able to eliminate two of the options, you can take a chance. Do not rush through the paper and do not get tensed. Do remember that if it is tough for you, then it is the same for others too.

TNPSC Group Main Exam Hall Ticket 2013 Online

TNPSC Group I Main Exam Hall Ticket 2013 – Tamilnadu Public Service Commission TNPS/c Group I Main Exam will be conducted on 25.10.2013, 26.10.2013 & 27.10.2013. 1,381 candidates are appearing for TNPSC Group I Main examination. Previously TNPSC Group I exam was conducted for the filing up the following vacancies in the public sector.
Total number of vacancies to be filled under Group 1 : 25 posts.
