JEE Main 2014 – How to apply online? – Procedure to file online application for JEE Main 2014

The online submission of particulars, uploading of scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression may be made at JEE (Main) website. The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation Page with Application No. shall be generated.

Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page and keep it for reference. The Confirmation Page is not required to be sent to JEE (Main) Secretariat (please refer point no. 10 of Important Instructions on page 3). The application fee payment can be made:
(a) by credit/debit card, or
(b) by depositing fee in cash in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI bank through e-challan generated during the online filling of application form.

JEE Main 2014 Instructions for Applying Online

Before filling up the application form the candidate should have a scanned image of his/her photograph, signature and thumb impression. These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of application form. The photograph should be colour or b/w (but clear contrast) with name of the candidate and date printed on it as shown below. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are  not  acceptable. Candidates with  unclear photograph are  liable  to  be  rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination, Counselling and Admission.
The information given in the first column of the following table will be asked in the Online Application form. The instructions to fill up the form have been given in the second column.

JEE Main 2014 Additional Information for Candidates for JEE (Advanced) – 2014

The candidates who are declared eligible for JEE (Advanced) – 2014 will have to again register later on at the JEE (Advanced) website http://jeeadv.iitkgp.ac.in after the declaration of the JEE (Main)-2014 score. They may note that it is compulsory to appear in both the papers of JEE (Advanced) – 2014 to be eligible for admission to IIT.
