The exam was held in the month of May and the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) was held in the month of June. Students can access their results on the official website of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
IPC Board has provided provision to access your results directly on your email. The candidates can access their results by entering their Roll number.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will soon going to declare CA CPT Admit Card June 2013 or CA CPT Hall Ticket 2013 for upcoming examination of Common Pro-efficiency Test on it’s official website at www.icai.nic.in ans also on www.icaiexam.icai.org.

CPT examination is taken in pen-paper mode while some time online examination is also taken. This is an objective type examination in which aspirants have to face questions in form of multiple choice like you will have 4 choice from which they can written answer as per their choices.

This examination contains total 200 marks of questions which taken out from 1.Fundamentals of Accounting(60 Marks)+ Mercantile Laws(40 Marks) and 2.Economics(50 Marks)+ Quantitative Aptitude(50 Marks).

For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks deducts from total obtained marks and to qualify this examination candidates need to securea 30 per cent marks which is minimum in each Section and a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate in all the four sections.

Common Proficiency Test of ICAI is the first step of Chartered Accountancy programmes in which you can apply after successfully cracking 10yh class but attend it only after passing 12th Class.

All those aspirants who held graduates, post graduates or any equivalent qualification degrees , can skip this examination and can directly apply for IPCC examination which is second step of CA.

This examination of CA is considered as a one of most difficult throughout the India which is taken twice in a year from which First edition of CPT organizes during June while second edition organizes during November month every year.

For this year Common Pro-efficiency Test first edition has been scheduled to be organized on 16th June 2013 at various exam centres which are also decide as well.
