Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is the exam for the recruitment of the teachers in the Punjab state for primary and upper primary level. The exam is scheduled on 9 June, 2013 and admit card for that is now available to download from the official site.
PSTET will be taken in the two parts. First exam will be conducted for the primary level which will be taken in the morning session and second exam is for the upper primary level which will be taken in the evening section. So candidates have to presence for the exam for which level he/she has applied. If anyone has applied for both level then ha/ she has to presence in both of the exams.
The exam pattern is as follows. Paper 1 for primary level will be of 150 marks. There will be five sections of 30 marks and each having 30 questions, so 1 mark for each question. The five sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
Paper II will be also of 150 marks and having only four sections in which first three sections are of 30 marks and compulsory for all and the last section is 60 marks in which the selected subject is asked. Four sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II and last section is for Mathematics and Science teacher or Social Studies/Social Science Teacher or any one from both of these.

For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks deducts from total obtained marks and to qualify this examination candidates need to securea 30 per cent marks which is minimum in each Section and a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate in all the four sections.

Common Proficiency Test of ICAI is the first step of Chartered Accountancy programmes in which you can apply after successfully cracking 10yh class but attend it only after passing 12th Class.
